Your Day-by-Day Guide to the MIHAS 2025 Show Programme
MIHAS, the world’s largest halal showcase, is right around the corner. The 21st edition of MIHAS will take place from 17 to 20 September 2025 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, uniting the global halal community under one roof. Over four days, visitors will discover new products, explore trade opportunities, gain knowledge, and experience cultural highlights. Whether you are planning to attend talks, explore the exhibition floor, or catch live showcases, each day will carry its own rhythm and focus. Here’s the complete show programme for your guidance:
Day 1: Wednesday, 17 September 2025
The opening day will set the pace with a strong line-up. While invited delegates gather early at the Shangri-La Hotel for the 15th Halal Certification Bodies Convention (HCBC) 2025, visitors arriving at MITEC from 10:00 am will step into the exhibition halls spread across three levels. Fourteen industry clusters, ranging from food and beverages to modest fashion, healthcare, finance and crafts, will be on display.
Day one will also feature the International Sourcing Programme (INSP) at MIHAS, organised by MATRADE. This flagship business-matching initiative will once again connect international buyers with Malaysian exporters through one-to-one sessions at MITEC. The physical INSP programme on 17 September complements the ongoing virtual edition, which runs from April to November 2025. It will bring together buyers and suppliers from various industries such as Agriculture, Apparel, Beverages, Palm oil, Pharmaceuticals, Information and Communication Technology, Islamic Finance, and more. With a proven track record, the 20th edition connected over 800 Malaysian companies with more than 500 international buyers. INSP MIHAS 2025 will provide participants with unparalleled opportunities to forge new trade partnerships and extend their global reach. It will be a key opportunity for Malaysian businesses to forge meaningful global trade connections.
The popular Pocket Talk series will also begin on the first day, running throughout the afternoon on Level 3. Expect concise 30-minute sessions covering moisture prevention technology, SME financial solutions, green beauty, and digital transformation for halal SMEs.
The MIHAS Kitchen will make its debut for the week, bringing the “Taste of Malaysia” to life with live cooking demonstrations. Meanwhile, invited guests will enjoy the Modest Fashion Show by MyFashionChamber on Level 2, and MATRADE’s International Sourcing Programme will open its first business meetings.
Day one is all about exploration — the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with the halls, meet exhibitors early on, and set the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2: Thursday, 18 September 2025
Momentum will build on day two. The exhibition will continue across all three levels and the Knowledge Hub will open with Power Talks on the main stage in the morning. These sessions will bring together thought leaders and industry experts to share practical strategies and real-world experiences in the halal economy.
A new series of Pocket Talks will explore topics such as global payments, food innovation, halal exports from Japan, ESG reporting and consumer-focused lifestyle solutions. A special culinary session with Chef Liza Zainol will add flavour to the day.
Networking will also take centre stage. In the afternoon, invited guests will attend the World Halal Business Conference 2025, while special sessions with delegations from Kazakhstan and Brazil will emphasise MIHAS's international scope.
On the exhibition floor, the Taste of Malaysia programme will continue, combining cuisine with market potential.
Day two will comprise formal sessions, practical talks and global networking opportunities.
Day 3: Friday, 19 September 2025
Friday will bring together trade, leadership, and creativity. The day will begin with the Opening Ceremony of the Global Halal Summit (GHaS) 2025, officiated by Malaysia’s Prime Minister (invitation-only). This moment will highlight MIHAS’s pivotal role in the global halal agenda.
The exhibition halls will remain the main attraction for visitors, complemented by a series of Pocket Talks. Topics will include nutraceutical innovation, halal packaging, aromatherapy, sustainable chemicals, K-beauty and bakery trends, showcasing both traditional and emerging halal sectors.
In the afternoon, SAY Aspire by DYTM Raja Muda Selangor will offer a youth-driven, leadership-focused perspective on the main stage.
The MIHAS Kitchen will also continue to offer live cooking sessions that blend tradition and innovation.
Day three will balance official ceremonies with grassroots innovation, making it a rewarding day for visitors seeking strategic insights and creative halal solutions.
Day 4: Saturday, 20 September 2025
The final day will close MIHAS 2025 on a high note. The exhibition halls will remain open, while the morning will feature the MIHAS Awards Ceremony 2025, recognising outstanding contributions in the halal industry.
Pocket Talks will continue with sessions on industrial development projects, halal verification solutions, and lifestyle health products. These concise talks will allow visitors to gain fresh insights without feeling rushed.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience Jualan Agro Madani (JAM) by FAMA, which highlights Malaysia’s agricultural strengths and showcases a wide range of agro-based products.
And of course, the MIHAS Kitchen will run throughout the day, ensuring the final hours are just as flavourful as the first.
Day four will have a more relaxed atmosphere, providing the perfect opportunity to revisit booths, hold follow-up discussions or simply enjoy the final moments of the showcase.
