Open to MIHAS 2026 exhibitors who meet the eligibility criteria, these awards recognise companies that demonstrate exceptional business performance, product and service excellence, innovative capabilities, sustainable business practices and the effective adoption of digital technologies to drive growth and competitiveness.
Categories and Its Description
Excellence Award
Recognises product and service-based exhibitors that have demonstrated outstanding business performance, exceptional quality, service excellence and strong market potential within the global halal industry.
Innovation, Sustainability & Digitalisation Award
Recognises product and service-based exhibitors that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability and digital transformation. The award celebrates businesses that adopt forward looking technologies and sustainable practices in their products, services and operations, including AI, automation, IoT, halal traceability, blockchain and digital commerce solutions.
WiEX Award: Anugerah Wira Ekonomi Wanita
Recognises outstanding women-led businesses exhibiting under the WiEX Pavilion, celebrating their business excellence, innovation, sustainability and digitalisation, while honouring the vital role of women entrepreneurs in driving the growth, diversity and resilience of the halal industry.
Excellence Award
Eligibility Criteria
Products Excellence Award
- •Confirmed participation as MIHAS 2026 exhibitor;
- •Registered as MATRADE Member (for Malaysian companies only);
- •Participated as an exhibitor at previous MIHAS on at least three (3) editions; and
- •Recorded an average annual sales value exceeding RM500,000.
Services Excellence Award
- •Confirmed participation as MIHAS 2026 exhibitor;
- •Registered as MATRADE Member (for Malaysian companies only);
- •Participated as an exhibitor at previous MIHAS on at least three (3) editions; and
- •Recorded an average annual sales value exceeding RM250,000.
Emerging Star Award
Eligibility Criteria
Products Emerging Star Award
- •Confirmed participation as MIHAS 2026 exhibitor;
- •Registered as MATRADE Member (for Malaysian companies only);
- •Participated as an exhibitor at previous MIHAS on at least one (1) edition; and
- •Recorded an average annual sales value exceeding RM500,000.
Services Emerging Star Award
- •Confirmed participation as MIHAS 2026 exhibitor;
- •Registered as MATRADE Member (for Malaysian companies only);
- •Participated as an exhibitor at previous MIHAS on at least one (1) edition; and
- •Recorded an average annual sales value exceeding RM250,000.
Winners receive various recognitions, including a MIHAS trophy, certificate of appreciation, promotional features on MATRADE and MIHAS platforms, social media exposure and other value-added benefits that enhance brand visibility and market presence.
