The Malaysia International Halal Showcase or MIHAS 2018 is held at the The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
MITEC is the country’s largest exhibition centre with 1 million square feet of gross exhibition space. The first component and flagship of KL Metropolis, a city within a city where trade, commerce, living and transport converge over 75.5 acres of prime land development, MITEC is poised to be the exhibition venue of choice in the Southeast Asia region.
MITEC is easily accessible through several major roads and highways. The venue is located approximately 9km from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre and 65km from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Arriving at the Airport
Upon arrival in KLIA or KLIA 2, visitors can board the high-speed KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit trains to KL Sentral Station, the city's main transportation hub. KLIA Ekspres is a non-stop fast train that connects the airport to the city. The journey to KLIA takes 28 minutes while the journey to KLIA 2 takes 33 minutes. KLIA Transit offers a similar service but with 4 stops along the way, at Bandar Tasik Selatan, Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and KLIA. The journey to KLIA 2 by KLIA Transit takes 38 minutes.
From KLIA 2, visitors can take the Aerobus or Skybus/ Skyvan services. Tickets can be purchased online, onboard the AirAsia flights or at the counters.
Travelling by Train
Kuala Lumpur has a comprehensive rail transportation system, serviced by KL Monorail, Rapid KL Light Rail Transit (LRT) as well as the KTM Komuter train.
Travelling by Bus
City buses are available at most parts of the city. RapidKL is the main bus company. RapidKL's bus hubs are KL Sentral, Titiwangsa, City Centre, Maluri and Medan Pasar.
KL Hop-On Hop-Off Tours Enjoy a tour around the city in style and comfort on board the Hop-On Hop-Off Coach. The semi-glass roofed coach takes visitors around the major places of interest in the city.
GoKL is a free bus service that was introduced to offer a viable and economic alternative for commuters to travel within the Kuala Lumpur Central Business District (CBD) area. The bus service is designed to function as a feeder bus, providing last mile connectivity by integrating with other modes of public transport.
